The Department’s functions include conducting environmental impact or risk assessments; securing permits; training and awareness programs; environmental quality monitoring; energy, waste, and water management; implementing land rehabilitation and biodiversity conservation programs; and managing adaptation strategies for climate change. The Department is also responsible for engaging with local communities to address concerns with mine resettlement programs, livelihood restoration, and corporate social responsibility programs.
Asset Protection
The Asset Protection Department is responsible for overseeing the safety and security of all assets and personnel within the organization.
